2022 CCFMS OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The ‘COFFS COAST FESTIVAL OF MOTOR SPORT’ (CCFMS) President.. Mr Bob Carle, is delighted to announce that this year’s event is confirmed for ‘engines start’ in November 2022.
This is particularly good news after contending with the 2020-21 Covid-19 circus of hoops and bumps, which unfortunately resulted in Bob, the CCFM Committee and all involved voting unanimously for the event postponement in 2021.
Back then, Bob did announce; “This event will be back in 2022 bigger and better!”.
Motor Sport is the passion that drives us and here we are now. Revving up to putting on this inaugural Motor Festival scheduled for every weekend in November 2022, for the Coffs Coast to enjoy, which includes an enormous range of ‘live’ high octane events for lovers of Motor Sport, right in our Coffs Coast region.
We are releasing a preliminary calendar of events planned for November 2022, most of which are confirmed, and some are getting locked in as we speak. When all bookings and logistics are in order, we will launch a finalized calendar of events.

Cars, Karts, Motor bikes, Rally Cars, Hotrods, Muscle & Racing Cars, Power Boats, Aircraft, and all other forms of Motorsport.. if it has wheels (or a hull), it will be featured in the COFFS COAST FESTIVAL OF MOTOR SPORT and it all starts with a major MOTORSHOW on the 5th November 2022 at the Coffs Harbour Racecourse.
The Festival, scheduled for November, includes a range of motor sport events planned to coincide with the finale of the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) which will have international competitors taking part alongside Australian-based teams.
The huge MOTORSHOW confirmed for the 5th November 2022 will be our ‘Official Opening’ of the inaugural ‘2022 COFFS COAST FESTIVAL OF MOTOR SPORT’ event, and will be staged at the awesome venue that is the ‘Coffs Harbour Racecourse’.
Cars and Machines of all types will be featured, and a full category Show n Shine will be staged with no shortage of Trophy’s up for grabs.
This year the Motor Show on the 5th November will run into the night, with a few surprises yet to be announced. There are also rumours that some classic Movie Cars will be in attendance, and with special appearances. Watch this space! I, MC, will be MC for this event on the day.
We can also confirm a massive ‘Motor Bike Show’ to be held at the same venue on the following Saturday, the 12th November 2022. This will also be a great event not to be missed!
Competitors from many parts of Australia are planning to travel to the Coffs Coast for different live Motor Sport shows & events at various locations within our region, every weekend in November from Grafton to Kempsey.
Major sponsors, teams, organizer’s, local & national car clubs and fans, also the local council, Rotary and our volunteer crews are some of the network of people contributing to these events.

Mr Bob Carle thanked those who have contributed to the Festival so far, acknowledging the incredible support the event has received from the local Coffs Coast community and motor sports clubs.
“The support from local sponsors has been tremendous, particularly the CeX Group and Geoff King Motors,” said Mr Carle.
“I’d also like to thank the NSW Government for its continuing support of this event, and we will be confirming actual event details of the 2022 Festival soon, which we know will deliver significant benefits for our region.”
“The local community has been extremely supportive of what we’ve tried to achieve, and we’ve had strong backing from the Coffs Harbour City Council,” added Mr Carle.
“We have had many additional local clubs coming forward requesting to stage events.”
